"There's No Place Like Home"
When Dorothy clicked her heels three times and said, "there's no place like home" girlfriend knew what she was talking about. And P.S. who doesn't love this movie? I mean here's Dorothy sitting in boring ol' Kansas when all of the sudden a tornado takes her to a beautiful colorful country. Lots of flowers, a road made of yellow bricks and a lady that travels in a pretty bubble that wears a pink dress that I have coveted since about the age of four. This just goes to show you though home truly is here the heart is, because, I don't know who would pick Kansas over Oz- but of course I digress.
I've gone to my mom's yet again one because this weekend is Mother's Day and we are having a cookout for my Nana and two because I do need to get some stuff done for her in her store. I like working in her boutique especially because I do get paid and her customers are super sweet!
But I hate it because Dan has to stay in Tulsa and I am on my own. It's not easy to fall asleep when your used to someone always being there, plus I love my house it's my favorite place to be. So here I am blogging the night away because I can't sleep even though I brought The Big Bang Theory and Oscar, it's still not the same as being at home. I know tomorrow will be rough because I will have to be up and at least look somewhat presentable!
This is how I am feeling right now! |
Well I guess I am off to bed,
Love and hugs to all-
Steph
