Disney or Universal??
I told you yesterday that Danny and I are going to Florida visit our family- and really do you need an excuse to go to South Florida?? But I digress, I've been wanting to go to Disney and Universal since I was a kid. It always made me so sad when a friend or family member went to Orlando and came back with all these stories and pictures... I know I may be a little old for The Magic Kingdom but I really don't care, I will just transform into my six year old former self and really get in to it. I know if I go I would like to see Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom but to really appreciate either Universal or Disney you need time to see everything and I don't have that cause we are going here on the way back!

If I went to Disney, you better believe I would be tracking done Pooh Bear, anything Lady and the Tramp, Stitch, and Cinderella too. I know they have an all around Christmas shop and I would just have to get an ornament because I love collecting ornaments from places we go. I want to ride the teacups, go on Splash Mountain and see that crazy Haunted Mansion. Trust me if I get to go there Dan has no idea what's in store for him... I'd be all over the place just like one of the kids that are all hopped up on sugar and excitement!! Plus Dan and I don't really like to ride rides so that doesn't bother me that The Magic Kingdom doesn't have any big thrill rides.
However, Universal has Harry Potter and I looove me some Harry Potter. Yes I am a nerd, I know that, thank you. I would love to walk around and look at Hogwarts, Zonko's Joke Shop go to Hogsmead and eat at Three Broomsticks. You know I'd be sporting me some Gryffindor colors... and of course be on the look out for Voldemort and Deatheaters! I could pretend that Harry Potter, Hermione and Ron were hanging out with me while I'm there. Oh my, I am a lot bit to old to be pretending anything! Lol!! But I do really want to drink a Butterbeer!

My brother also likes Harry Potter, I mean the movie came out and he was about the same age as the actors so he has grown up reading the books and watching the movies so I know he'd be down to go. Chad, (my bro) also like thrill rides so he'd enjoy Universal more... Ugh how will I ever make up my mind???
Actually after looking up all of the pictures and dreaming of a Butterbeer I think Harry Potter just won the argument in my head... I think I will go and watch a Potter movie now thank you very much! Dum de dum dum, dum dum, dum (that the theme song playing in my head)! I'm silly today...

Go to universal! That is where Reed and I went for our first anniversary and we only had 3 days and we saw the whole thing! Its not huge like Disney so you can for sure see everything and the rides are more for the grown ups :) I'm dying to go back, we haven't got to see the Harry Potter. But I know we will go to Disney first because my boys are completely nuts for Mickey
ReplyDeleteYeah I want to go to both, but we only have one day and Harry Potter has won the battle! I wish I could have three or four days to see everything! I really really want to go to Disney but I guess I will save it for when I have kids it's probably more special that way anyway!
